Scope and ContentEngraving by Charles Jameson Grant subtitled: WELLINGTON, PEEL and Co's noted CABINET manufactory, wholesale, retail and in EXPECTATION. Sworn brokers to the Queen (without her appointment), appraisers upon the SLIDING SCALE principle, and undertakers of all dirty work; people's goods REMOVED upon the shortest notice; collectors of John Bull's rents and repairers of old Whig furniture, upon the most unreasonable terms - all day and no PEACE-work, good wages (quarterly), and five holiday's a week throughout the year.
WELLINGTON, (Master Cab.) - Allow me, please y'r Majesty, to show you and y'r August husband this excellent piece of furniture; a new CABINET made in our establishment, (tho' as yet unfinish'd) after my design, and under my superintendence, and which I flatter myself will meet the approbation of y'r Majesty. We have broken up the old Whig CABINET as unfit for y'r Majesty's use, and I trust this one is a splendid improvement upon the same useless Lumber. Y'r Majesty may see that all my men are hard at work, each cutting out materials for his own special JOB.
BROUGHAM, (up the trap-door) - I say, Bob, have you got a JOB for a cove out o' work; as you are FOREMAN, perhaps you can get me something through your interest? I don't belong to any Radical Trades' Union, or any Whig Club - I'm tired of going upon the tramp so, and should be glad of any thing to turn a shilling
