This lorry carries live nuclear warheads in special military convoys - on our country's roads. This one crashed in Helensburgh in June 1985. Luckily it was a minor accident. If this vehicle were to catch fire a situation similar to Chernobyl would occur. Nuclear warhead convoys regularly cross the country from one Ministry of Defence establishment to another: through heavily populated areas! through nuclear free zones!
