Scope and ContentPoster with a quote from Shelley's The Masque of Anarchy and the text: This is a quotation from Percy Shelley's poem The Masque of Anarchy written in 1819 in response to the Peterloo massacre and is a call for all people to stand together against oppression. The photographs depict historical and contemporary examples of people joining together in collective action. These words have been placed in large cut-out letters on a building which now stands on the site of the old TGWU headquarters at no 1 The Crescent, Salford. The artwork was commissioned by Irwell Valley Housing Association in association with CITE
