Scope and ContentEngraving by Charles Jameson Grant subtitled: We have got a new set of Cooks now, and they help themselves, as all Cooks do, to the best of everything. They are cramming JOHN BULL, evidently; but they are roasting him at the same time. The Chief Cook is stuffing him with sage and onion - the old Flesher is employed in basting him. Cumberland and his unsocial reverence of Exeter, and Lyndhurst, are enjoying a sop in the pan. Sir James (turncoat) Graham is turning the spit - and Lord Londonderry has got a basin of sauce, which by-and-bye he will spill upon his brother cooks for advising him to GO HOME. Albert and his German Compeers have a snug and comfortable little corner to themselves; and Brougham is peeping in from behind the curtain, to see if he cannot find a job for an EX-WIG. Adelaide has go 100,000 sops, and Aberdeen is sucking his fingers, which have just been enriched with some grease from Old Goosey
