Scope and ContentBlack and white portratit of Keir Hardie with the inscription on front "Therewith is but the guinea stamp. The mans the man, Jan 25 1897 J. Keir Hardie". Another inscription on back "This picture hung on the wall of the Clarion Clubhouse Handforth for 40 years, and at Valley House for 13 years. At Easter Meet, Durham, 1951, Manchester presented the picture to Bert Brown of London knowing he would value it." There is label on back saying Property of The Keir Hardie Memorial Committee.
