Scope and ContentAngela Tuckett discusses her proposed book about her aunt, Enid Stacy - "Our Enid - 1868-1903". Enid was a socialist, feminist and worker for democratic rights. The tape is not very clear unfortunately. Angela is talking to a group of men who make many criticisms of her draft biography, although one says at the beginning that they want to publish the book.
(This did not happen, and the manuscript for the book was held at the WCML for several years, before being eventually published in 2016, by the WCML. It is available from the Working Class Movement Library collection.)
