Scope and ContentFrances Dean talks about her involvement with the trades council from 1941, interviewed by Ruth Frow, for the purpose of producing a book about the trades council. The tape starts with a discussion with Ruth Frow about Communist activity in the late sixties and early seventies. It moves on to discussion about the Trades Council and positions Frances held over the years until she left in 1981. Frances then gives a chronological rundown of the positions she has held in other organisations including the YCL and Communist party. Anecdotes about people they both worked with. Trades Council today.
