Materials
1-ply, thick plastic tarpaulin-like material. It comprises 2 pieces, stitched vertically down the centre. Holes are cut into the material for the details of the ‘Ban the Bomb’ symbol and the owl illustration.
Front
‘Give peace a chance’ circles are thick, smooth plastic with an adhesive backing. The ‘Ban the Bomb’ circles are more tactile and embroidered onto the banner.
The owl comprises thick grey cotton embroidered. The darker grey and black details are the same material. The yellow eye details are a thick smooth plastic with adhesive backing.
‘Leeds CND’ text is a thin nylon with an adhesive backing.
‘Dortmund’ and the German eagles are felt with an adhesive backing.
Reverse
All of the text is felt with an adhesive backing.
Hanging mechanism
There are 7 blue nylon loops across the top and five of the same down each side.
