Materials
1-ply smooth silk/velour-type material, with thick folded hems at the edges. The arched strips and the central circle are cotton, embroidered to the banner. The details on these are painted. ‘Ban the Bomb’ symbol is achieved by cutting a circular piece away from the banner. The spokes are thick cotton.
Hanging mechanism
Across the top are two large sleeves, from both sides to two fifths of the way in. There is one large loop at the top, located centrally. There are also sleeves up both side hems.
