Materials
1-ply cotton sheet with a very small hem on the right edge and a thicker hem on the left.
The emblem is a more tactile, softer material, embroidered to the banner.
The label at the base of the thick hem has the Union flag and the words ‘Porter Bros. Ltd Kings Dock Mill LIVERPOOL’.
Hanging mechanism
From the left hem, immediately at the top of the banner is a thick rope at the end of which is attached a wooden toggle. At the base this rope emanates from the hem about 20in with a loop at the end.
