Scope and ContentThe background of the banner is white.

At the bottom left is a solitary figure in black silhouette. Apparently female, she has her arms outstretched, facing towards the opposite side of the banner. At the bottom right corner are six figures in a group, also in black silhouette. There are three large figures (presumably adults) and three smaller figures (apparently children). The figure furthest to the left of the group (who also appears to be female) has one arm outstretched and all the figures are facing towards the opposite side of the banner (to the solitary figure).

Stretching from immediately above the head of the solitary figure (halfway down the banner on the left side), up across the top and down to immediately above the heads of the group of figures are the words: “Stop Salema’s Deportation”. These words are in a large, uppercase, red font.
Dead central on the banner are the words: “Unite Families”. These words are in a large, uppercase, green font.
Across the bottom, between the solitary figure and the group, are the initials: “USPC” These are in a slightly larger, uppercase, red font.

2-ply thick cotton sheet. The back piece is beige in colour, the front white.
All illustrations and text are more tactile cotton, embroidered to the banner.
There is a thick horizontal seam two-fifths from the top.
There are four horizontal slats cut into the material for ventilation. Two of these are located centrally approximately ¼ from the top and one-third from the bottom. The other two are located on the seam, one-fifth in from the left and right edges.
Hanging mechanism
There is no hanging mechanism.
